Sports day results - Both sports days were a success. 
The children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities that
they participated in.

The results were:

Important Letter 8th July



Wednesday 15th June - Llandudno Year Five Residential

Year 5 are in Llandudno for this week.  They travelled on Monday making a stop at Blist's Hill and arrived at their hotel at 5.00pm. The weather was excellent yesterday and they enjoyed amazing views from the summit of Snowdon Mountain.  They also enjoyed the slate caverns and a beach walk last night.  Today they enjoyed walking aound the town this morning and swimming at the Rhyl Sun Centre this afternoon.
The hotel and food are great and they all excited about going ten pin bowling tonight.


Friday 18th March - Caythope Court Year Six Residential

Everyone enjoyed their last night. All packed and ready to come home. Should be leaving around 2.00 pm so should be back at school at approximately 3.00 pm. Enjoy the washing!!!  It has been very muddy!

Thursday 17th March - Caythorpe Court Year Six Residential

All having a great time. Eating and sleeping well. Activities are great. Weather misty, cold and drizzle. Very muddy so watch the bags when they return home tomorrow. Should be back at school around 3.00pm.

Wednesday 16th March - Caythorpe Court Year Six Residential

Year six children and staff all had a good night, eating and sleeping well. They enjoyed chasing the flag last night. Looking forward to the vertical challenge, climbing wall, problem solving and the sensory trail today. Hopefully the weather will be ok.

Monday 14th March

The year 5 football team played a match against Benwick this afternoon.  They won 4-2.  Well done to the whole team, who Miss Cattini reported, played
some great football!

Monday 14th March

Year 6 have left for Caythorpe this morning.  All are looking forward to an
extremely adventurous week and we look forward to hearing all their stories
when they get back.

Outdoor changes for Foundation Stage

Mrs Edmond has been busy organising some exciting changes for the
foundation stage's outdoor area.  A summer house has been put up to the side
of the school and further exciting changes are on the way...

Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th March

The whole school took part in a sponsored Speed Mark event.  Each child had
to kick a ball into a net to see how fast they could do it.  We have already had
lots of sponsorship money sent into the school and look forward to seeing
what our final total will be...

Friday 28th January


Years 5 and 6 took part in a cross country event at Cromwell.  Overall the school came first.  Everyone who took part has worked really hard and it shows in the results:

Boys: Edward 1st, Harry 3rd, Jamie 4th, Max 5th, Brandon 16th and Oliver 25th.
Girls: Teonie 1st, Emily 2nd, Megan 3rd, Bex 4th, Rebecca 5th, Ashleigh 6th, Georgia 11th and Alice 12th.
Excellent team effort!



Thursday 20th January

The year 4 football team played a match against Benwick Primary School and won 6 - 3.  Well done to all who played!



Wednesday 19th January

Everyone at Glebelands took part in a country-wide dance event.  At twenty
to twelve, everyone assembled on the playground for a world record attempt
in conjunction with children from all over the country.  The aim was to get as many children as possible dancing at the same time.  We are awaiting the
results to see if we have broken a world record for the most people dancing
at once!
